By accessing or using this website, including but not limited to browsing, making a booking inquiry, or reserving the floating cabin (The Nomad on Norris Lake), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"), the Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines posted on this website. If you do not agree to these T&Cs, you must not use this website.

This website is operated by The Nomad on Norris Lake Owners ("We," "Us," or "Our") and is used to promote and facilitate the rental of the floating cabin located at Straight Creek Marina . All rental bookings are subject to availability and the specific Rental Agreement (see Section 5).

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use this website and make a reservation.
• Prohibited Uses: You may not use the website for any unlawful purpose, to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts, or to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances.

• Inquiry vs. Reservation: A booking inquiry does not guarantee a reservation. A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from Us and, typically, a deposit or full payment.
• Reservations: This site provides information about the floating cabin. To make a reservation find us on Airbnb, Vrbo, or contact Straight Creek Marina directly at  (423) 626-5826 
• Separate Agreement: All confirmed renters will be required to sign a separate, detailed Rental Agreement before or upon check-in. This separate document governs the physical rental of the Cabin and supersedes these T&Cs in the event of a conflict regarding the physical stay.
• Safety Acknowledgment: The renter acknowledges that the Cabin is a floating structure and inherent risks are associated with water-based activities and environments. The renter agrees to follow all safety instructions, local maritime laws, and posted rules.
• Occupancy and Use: The Rental Agreement will specify the maximum occupancy, rules regarding pets, smoking, use of the watercraft (if any), and conduct on the water.

• Website Liability: We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Cabin Liability: You acknowledge and agree that We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur to the renter, guests, or their property while on the premises of the Cabin, or while participating in activities associated with the rental (e.g., boating, swimming).
• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Nomad on Norris Lake and its affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these T&Cs or the Rental Agreement.

• All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Nomad on Norris Lake or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

• These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York and Tennessee and the federal laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
• Any disputes relating to these T&Cs or the use of the website will be resolved in the courts located in Claiborne County (Tennessee) and/or Erie County (New York)

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these T&Cs by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
